In an attempt to keep my attention off the fact
that I am going to see War
of the Worlds in a little bit, I have been trying to concentrate
my time building our newest section that will be coming out late August.
However, I just received a nice little heads up through email and figured
I might as well add a little more to the War of the Worlds craze.
War of the worlds Press Conference
Paramount decided to allow Steven Spielberg and
Tom Cruise to hold a special press conference over in New York during the
last week so they can answer some further questions about War of the
Worlds. The press conference lasted a little over thirty minutes and
features tons of questions that are thrown at both Steven Spielberg and
Tom Cruise from multiple news agencies and movie fansites. However, the
top questions seemed to revolve around the reversal done by Spielberg as
he went from friendly aliens in ET and Close Encounters of
the Third Kind and now has aliens that are a direct threat to the human
way of life. They also discussed the use of family that Spielberg seems
to apply to most of his films.
