It looks like the score is finally tied when it comes to early positive and negative reviews for Fantastic Four. With this latest review, which can be filed under positive, maybe it is time to start getting excited for something 'fantastic'... or close to it.

Fantastic Four Review

'Whatchamakallit', who was lucky enough to catch an early screening for the film, has posted the latest review for Fantastic Four over at Joblo. So what did the person think? Well, he admits that Fantastic Four is not the top-notch comic book adaptation that X-Men or Spider-Man were, but the film is still an entertaining summer blockbuster just the same. Check out a snippet from the review below:

I have to say I'm shocked. I thought this movie was going to blow dog, and I was pleasantly surprised. Is it as good as X-Men, Batman Begins, Spider-Man, and Superman the Movie? Oh hell no. However, it's a nice big goofy summer movie that is quite entertaining. They don't take the serious tone that most of the current comic book movies do, and I think that's a wise choice. It helps the film stand apart.

The writer then goes on to say that you may just want to catch Batman Begins a second time before seeing Fantastic Four; so I don't know what that means. However, the entire catch to the review was that the movie is entertaining, and most likely worth a trip to the theatre. To read the entire review for Fantastic Four, head over to Joblo.

Fantastic Four comes out to theatres this Friday.
