Fantastic Four may not be that hot
I did not mean to come back to Fantastic
Four so quickly, but when I heard that AICN
had posted their early movie review for the film, I had to take notice.
The only down side to the review is that it is almost completely negative,
with a few nice little comments among a list of 'bad elements' to the film.
Fantastic Four Review
I love it when the guys over at AICN post an early
review. While the review is supposed to be a quick heads up to the moviegoer
community, the writers over their can write pages upon pages for a movie
they felt little for. The same holds true to their first review of Fantastic
Four, which contains enough humorous analogies to keep me reading for
a bit. Let me warn you, however, that the review does administer a beating
on Fantastic Four, and finishes by hoping that this film is just
a crappy start to a promising series. Check out a snippet:
FF1 wasn’t the best issue of the Fantastic Four – it is a series that got better and better… till the world ceased being the innocent world in which they were so Fantastic in.
Of the big summer films so far, it is by far the worst. But if this is as bad as the “gotta see” Summer films this year can get, then we should count ourselves lucky. Sure we’re getting some shit, but there’s a diamond in there too. Somewhere.
