The Island
A while back there was a little bit of early negative
buzz posted for Michael Bay's upcoming film The
Island. However, I have not seen any negative buzz since,
and movie clips like this latest one convince me more and more that this
film is going to be great.
The Island Clip
Dreamworks has begun a marketing campaign for The
Island similar to BMW's 'Watch More' campaign [with Clive Owen] that
showed you part of a cool clip and then asks you to show up to some website.
Actually, I think CanMag kind of does that when it comes to trailers...
but never mind that now.
Dreamworks has posted a new extended clip for The Island that supposedly
becomes more extended if you check out the link posted at the end. However,
before that post, you can check out some cool action shots from the freeway
scene where cars get annihilated by what looks to be train axels. And, if
you aren't into that, seeing Scarlett Johansson looking better than ever
in this latest clip helps too.

The Island is due out to theatres on July 22, 2005.
