King Kong at San Diego Comic-Con
Due to my extended vacation up in Banff, Canada,
I will not be able to head down to San Diego for this year's Comic-Con;
even though the convention is only about an hour and some from my house.
I know... it sucks. So I instead plan on posting an update now and again
with round-ups from all the reports coming in.
For the first reports it looks like we are starting big with pics from the
booths of The
Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe
and King Kong.
Narnia and Kong Pics
AintitCool is starting the game off right
with some nice looking pics sent in from the San Diego Comic-Con convention
going on right now. The first report from AICN shows off some nice miniatures
and statues for the upcoming films The Chronicles of Narnia and
King Kong. A nice combination since each of these films [with the
help of Harry Potter
and the Goblet of Fire] should finish off the year of
2005 with a bang.
To check out those 'clean' pics, head over to AICN.
You can also get a GIANT second dose of pics from
the Comic-Con convention [also featuring Narnia and Kong]
over at ComingSoon. However, unlike the pics from AICN, the pics at CS look
like the photographer was running from security while taking the shots.
Either that, or these pictures are so big that the only way you can view
them properly is to download them to your own computer.
A nice addition
to the ComingSoon Comic-Con report is that they also have some nice pics for The
Corpse Bride and Star
Wars: Revenge of the Sith.
To check out this set of pics for Comic-Con, head over to ComingSoon.
Stay tuned for updates.
