Ben Foster, probably best known for his role in
the television series Six Feet Under or his disturbing appearance
in the film Hostage, has just been signed on to play the part of
Angel in the upcoming 20th Century Fox film X-Men
3.

According to Variety,
Ben Foster will play the role of Warren Worthington III [aka Angel] in the
upcoming comic book adaptation X-Men 3. Foster now joins actors
Vinnie Jones [Juggernaut] and Kelsey Grammar [Beast] as the newest mutant
to the X-Men cast.
Foster joins the cast with a filmography that includes Hostage,
The Punisher, Northfolk, Bang Bang You're Dead,
Big Trouble, and Black Hawk Down. While this [incomplete]
filmography is not entirely impressive, it seems that Foster's limited roles
in each of the films, especially Hostage, were enough to prove
that he has the acting ability to face a role as demanding as Angel.
