Nathon Fillion is the captain of Serenity
Ever since I saw the first trailer for the upcoming
Whedon film Serenity
I have been amped. This film looks like just the sci-fi adventure I need
to help close out the summer blockbusters, and what better way to do it
than have the film based off of the already popular TV series Firefly.
Well, now that the first trailer and early screenings have finally caught
the attention of the moviegoers around the world, it looks like it is time
for another trailer.
Intl Serenity Trailer
Unlike the latest 40
Year-Old Virgin international trailer that is very similar
to the domestic version [save the uncensored material], the international
trailer for Serenity shows so much new footage and story that we
could just call this baby the 2nd full trailer. Does the film still look
cool? You bet it does. I love the look of Nathan Fillion as captain of the
spaceship called Serenity, and his ability to offer some of that quirky
humor that is very much appreciated in adventure films [do we have an Indiana
Jones in space here?]. The last movie I remember seeing with Nathan Fillion
featured him crying like a baby about a mistaken identity [Saving Private
Ryan]. I also still check in on Fillion with reruns of Two Guys,
a Girl, and a Pizza Place on the WE channel.
Multiple resolutions of the Serenity trailer are currently available,
so head over to the Serenity
Movie Page to check them all out.
Serenity will come to orbit on September 30th, 2005.
