Brief media update for those of you who were unable
to attend San Diego Comic - Con or those that have been dying to get your
hands on just about anything Narnia. The good people at moviefone
have just posted the first footage clip displayed at Comic - Con for The
Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe.
Chronicles of Narnia Clips
Besides having the feature clip from The Chronicles
of Narnia shown for Comic - Con, moviefone also has two other featurettes
and the teaser trailer to watch as well. After watching the two featurettes
and the most recent clip, Narnia Comic Con footage, I believe that
we may have found our new LOTRs to fill the winter holidays. Andrew
Adamson [Shrek, Shrek 2], the director or The Chronicles
of Narnia, claims that this film is going to appeal to every age group
and have something 'truly amazing' to offer the moviegoer public.
While in most cases I choose to be skeptical about a 'children's book',
I can tell that Adamson has gone out of his way to take a very small portion
of the tale, the final battle, and has blown it up into something incredible.
I see a lot of these races and all this battle emphasis and I can only think
that a few pages from the actual book covered this. However, how can I complain
about a grand battle?
