I have just been doing some web surfing when I
came across the finalized Superman shield logo for the upcoming Bryan Singer
film Superman Returns.

I had figured that the first shield released back
in May, the one with the lighter blue background, was a rough cut of the
finalized version. However, after stopping in at DarkHorizons
that does not seem to be the case, as this new Superman Returns
shield looks completely different. All in all, I like how they kept a little
bit of the carved-3D aspect to the logo while still keeping it pretty faithful
to the original.
