Stealth
After seeing the cast and trailers to the upcoming
aerial action film Stealth,
I figured that this would be a cool summer blockbuster to see. How can you
go wrong with killer aerial maneuvers with some of the raddest looking planes
I have seen? Well, you can, or at least the early reviews seem to think
so. Ever since the early screenings for Stealth began to take place the
film has only created more negative buzz, and now we have the first full
report posted by AICN.
What did they think of Stealth? What does 'this film is 7 tons
of dumb' mean to you?
Stealth Review
I will admit that I am sad to hear that Stealth
is far from good, as I had hoped this film would entertain the hell out
of me during a theatre visit; guess I should wait till DVD. AICN, who is
at times forgiving for action films such as Stealth, leaves no
extra room to keep tearing it apart. They hated almost everything about
it, even the impressive cast could not get a grip on the movie. Check out

Ya know... at 4am with a bunch of friends - drunk, stoned or hallucinating from exhaustion... this film may work. But otherwise - it's $35 million in pure fx all to serve no end whatsoever. The film makes the navy out to be incredibly stupid, fighter pilots brash disobedient children and top secret activities to be... the most obvious things in the world. Yeah... but is it fun? If you like to spend your time constantly laughing at out-landish stupidity (and you do read me everyday, so maybe you do) then yeah... its fun, but only in the way that watching HOUSE OF THE DEAD is fun.
