The good people over at thehollywoodnews
have recently posted a bunch of new pictures from the set and film of the
upcoming Joss Whedon space adventure titled Serenity. While I do
like the new pictures, the article is just a sore reminder of the lack of
official movie stills released by Universal Pictures. As of now I think
the total official stills available for Serenity amounts to two,
which is pretty crappy considering the hype for this film.
The one thing Universal did do right is allow all
of those early screenings of Serenity across the nation. There were so many
positive reviews for the unfinished film that Universal was able to lay
back and let the moviegoers mouths do the talking. Remember, word of mouth
is a huge thing and early negative reviews can be dangerous.
Something about this picture is just so hot.
