Stealth
Just a nice heads up for all of you planning to
check out Stealth
this weekend. Even though the film has already had quite a few negative
review, I still have got to say that the trailers still do look cool. The
only problem with Stealth, besides the reviews, is that it was
lacking movie clips, which made me wonder what Columbia Pictures is trying
to hide. However, beginning today, MovieFone has posted one extended clip
from Stealth featuring a scene most of us are already familiar
with.
Stealth Clip
The clip for Stealth recently posted over
at Moviefone features the scene where Josh Lucas is refueling his jet and
then the AI jet fighter comes out of nowhere. You know, the scene where
the 'bad' jet sets the whole ring of fuel on fire by flying through it,
creating an explosion big enough to be seen from space. Well, that's the
scene.
While the clip for Stealth does show some of the impressive camera
angles thanks to CGI work, there were definitely a few things that bothered
me here. First, why the hell is the refueling plane pumping gas out of a
pump that does not have anything hooked up to it? Is that standard procedure
to pump fuel into the air just to fill up a single jet? And, why does this
AI pilot sound like such an I'm - a - 80s - robot bitch? The AI software
and Josh Lucas actually talk shit to one another, but it sounds more like
a bully picking on a nerd who has stupid comebacks. But hey, that could
just be me.
