Here is an update for all of you who love flying
men in tights. Well, not exactly, but check out the latest production diary
for Superman Returns
titled 'Love Previs.'

In the latest Superman Returns speeding
bulletin, 'Love Previs', we get to check out a pretty cool program, or maybe
even group of programs, that work to create a picture perfect scene even
before Bryan Singer begins to actually film it. The program is basically
like doing an animation first to get an idea of the look and then transferring
that to live-action. However, Previs allows the first look to look very
realistic with tons of CGI involved.
Another cool aspect that I liked about the program is that the developers
can also tell the program where the filming rig and track is, so that the
program can adjust accordingly. Cool stuff.
