Grizzly Man
The news looks like it is going to be kind of slow
today and, though I was not impressed with the clip, I still find it interesting
that people are so anxious to see the story of Timothy Treadwell. This is
the same Timothy Treadwell that invited his girlfriend, Amie Huguenard,
to go live with some grizzly bears for a season. Amie's friends knew this
was a bad idea, but she went anyway only to become the final supper [Timothy
was the main course] for a pissed off grizzly.
To makes matter worse, the entire event was recorded by a camera with the
lens cap still on. Talk about a Wildlife video!
Grizzly Man Clip
I am still weirded out by the draw for the film
Grizzly Man, and the fact that Leonardo DiCaprio had once considered
playing the role of Timothy Treadwell [I guess they had met or were speaking
friends]. I still think that people just want to know what the hell Treadwell
was doing without any type of weapon for protection or even pepper spray
[commonly used by bear watchers]. Not that the answer to this question is
complicated, the guy just didn't want to use them.
To make matters even stranger, the guy admitted that he hoped he would become
part of grizzly bear feces, meaning that he wouldn't mind finding his end
by being munched on by his favorite wildlife creature. However, according
to what I heard about the recorded tape, Treadwell was not that excited
to being eaten alive after all.
Anywho, thanks to the heads up from ComingSoon,
Lions Gate Films has released a special clip from Grizzly Man that
serves as a type of introduction to Timothy Treadwell. The clip closes with
David Letterman asking Treadwell if he is ever going to read about him being
eaten by the same bears that he loves; talk about irony. To check out the

The only thing that I really do like [so far] about
the film Grizzly Man is the cool looking movie poster. Besides
it having a cool looking pictures, the tagline 'In nature there are no boundaries.
One man spent the last 13 years of his life crossing them' is extremely
well done and gives me a little extra hope that this film may be something
to watch.
