Zoolander
Now that Owen Wilson has got a little fire behind
him with the success of his latest buddy - comedy Wedding
Crashers, it looks like he is ready to go back to a film
that made him the Sting - respecting model Hansel; and he was FABULOUS!
Zoolander 2 Talks
According to a report from MovieHole,
Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson are in talks of teaming up again for a sequel
to their 2001 comedy Zoolander. Even though Owen Wilson couldn't
go into specifics [as if he had any], he does mention that he and Stiller
are in serious talks and that there wouldn't be a Zoolander sequel
without Hansel.
The idea for Zoolander actually started as a VH1 comedic sketch
about a model who has lost touch with just about everything around him.
Never mind the fact that the model is an absolute idiot also helped allow
the comedic punch lines to keep flying. Ben Stiller later took the idea
of Zoolander and adapted it to film.

A final tidbit from the report claims that Owen
Wilson was in talks for both a Shanghai Dawn and a Starsky
and Hutch 2. While I wouldn't mind a sequel to Shanghai Noon
and Shanghai Knights, I am just not feeling another Starsky
coming our way. Besides, Jackie Chan is hurting to find a buddy since Chris
Tucker [seeing his stand-up act this weekend] is unwilling to go forward
with Rush Hour 3; even with the increased pay.
