Charlize Theron is Aeon Flux
Moviefone just alerted me that they have got two
new clips for the upcoming film Aeon
Flux starring Charlize Theron. Both the clips look pretty
rad, but I still have to voice my complaint over the outfit they have Theron
wear for this adaptation of the MTV animation. In the series, Aeon Flux
used her sex appeal to avoid death and control opponent males [and females?].
She did so with ease thanks to her slinky leather outfit. However, in the
film, Theron's Aeon Flux sports a full outfit that looks like she is a ninja
ready for a workout.
Aeon Flux Movie Clips
The first clip is an actual shot from the movie
in what looks like Aeon Flux committing a prison break thanks to the help
of her marble friends. Yeah, I don't understand it either, but it does look
extremely cool. I especially like how the camera slides along with the mercury
looking balls and, if the rest of the film is like this, we could definitely
have something cool coming our way.
The second clip is a behind - the - scenes featurette that shows the training
that Charlize Theron had to go through to become Aeon Flux. While this was
cool, the best feature of the second clip is that they do a quick comparison
between the Aeon Flux from the animation and Theron's Aeon Flux. It was
like a walk down memory lane when they show the opening scene to the animated
series.
