Into
the Blue is one of those films that you really hope is
going to do well in the theatres. The trailers look great, Jessica
Alba looks sexy as hell, and the rest of the cast [Paul Walker,
Scott Caan, Ashley Scott] fit the style of the film. Throw in some underwater
thrills, sharks and ass, and now Into the Blue looks like one of
the great hopefuls for September. But how can this happen? This film features
Paul Walker, an actor who has aligned himself with teenie-bopper films such
as Fast and the Furious.
Personally, I don't know what's going on or why this film looks so good,
but I am praying that it does not turn out to be a Fast and the Furious
on the open waters. That being said... how about some new movie stills?

Just when we figured today was most likely going
to be a slow day for news, I had received a little pick me up with some
of the latest movie stills from Into the Blue. Sure, it isn't the full trailer
for Harry Potter
and the Goblet of Fire, but it is enough to keep our attention
on the films coming our way within a month.
Into the Blue is a high-stakes thriller set in the deep, shark-infested
waters of the Bahamas. When young divers discover the wreckage of a cargo
plane at the bottom of the sea, they believe their dream of buried treasure
has come true. What they don't realize is that millions of dollars of illegal
goods are in that sunken plane and a group of dangerous criminals are already
desperately searching for it. As tensions mount and the friends begin to
fight about what to do with their find, others get closer to discovering
their secret - and the treasure hunters quickly become the hunted.

A nice perk with the butt shot.
Not a bad set of new movie stills for Into
the Blue. The only problem I have found with the film is the release
date, which is the same date as Serenity.
I guess Into the Blue will be the one to get the matinee visit.
Into the Blue comes to theatres on September 30th.
