Whatever happened to the Harry
Potter and the Goblet of Fire movie trailer that we had
predicted to come our way this week? What film could it possibly be attached
to this Friday? Will MovieFone being doing an internet exclusive? All possible
questions, but it seem that our hopes may be running dry that the Goblet
of Fire trailer will pop up online this week [next week then]. However,
dry your eyes, at least we got a couple new movie stills and some reports
from more lucky fans able to attend the early screening over in Chicago.
Goblet of Fire Movie Stills
Before I get to the reviews, check out the latest
two movie stills for Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire that popped
in my inbox while I was watching the Fox television show So You Think
You Can Dance. I know, pretty weak of me to be watching this show.
But did you see the episode when the dancer began to cry because he was
'feeling' the music course through him? And then the other dancers began
to cry with him... I kid you not! Anyway, don't think too low of me and
check out these latest movie stills from Harry Potter and the Goblet
of Fire.
Malfoy is always trying to get close to those he considers powerful [Krum].

Goblet of Fire Reviews
The good people over at MoviesOnline
interviewed a few people exiting the early screening of Harry Potter
and the Goblet of Fire and asked them questions like whether parents
should bring young children to this film. Not the first question I'd ask,
but lets see what these people thought of Goblet of Fire.
First Person
It was amazing, seeing this film in the middle of production and how much of it is computerized! I think it was the closest to the books, I read the Goblet of Fire a year ago, and I did not care that they cut out some of the parts. I would have liked to have seen more of the underwater scenes because they were really cool. The part where they introduce the other schools with the carriage and the boat was well done. I hope they put in more Victor Krum playing Quidditch, because he was a good character.
Second Person
This film will be visually fantastic. It’s going back to the traditional feel of the first two, instead of the weirdness of the 3rd. They have taken liberty with the storyline, changing things that might cause problems in future storylines, and it makes me wonder if J.K. Rowling approved the changes. Also, Madame Maxine does not look like I thought she would, she’s a lot taller and thinner than Hagrid and I thought they were supposed to be about the same size. It’s ok that they left out SPEW, Winky, and Dobby because the story was fine without that stuff.
Before you ask.. Yes, it has already been stated
that some of the smaller aspects to Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire,
such as SPEW, have been cut from the film. We might not even get to see
Harry on Pivet Drive this film; which he is in the book.
Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire comes to theatres on November
18th.
