Angelina Jolie from Mr & Mr Smith
Considering that Angeline
Jolie is the most opened person [in the best sense] in our
Star Database, the news
of her joining the cast of the upcoming Robert Zemeckis film Beowulf
should be pretty popular.
Beowulf Cast Grows
Joining a cast that includes Ray Winstone, Anthony
Hopkins, Brendan Gleeson, Robin Wright Penn and Crispin Glover, Angelina
Jolie will play the role of the queen of darkness, whose job it is to tempt
the viking as he makes his way to become king. If anything, this interesting
cast for this film should be enough to get it a little extra attention;
especially now that both Glover and Anglina Jolie have signed on.
To make my curiosity for this film grow even more, Paramount and Warner
Bros Pictures will handle distribution of the film. How big is this live-action
film going to be?
Beowulf is the adaptation of the classic eighth-century English
poem which features a noble man who must slay two monsters in order to protect
his people. Roger Avary and Neil Gaiman, with Robert Zemeckis taking the
helm, drafted the screenplay for the film.
