Jamie Foxx plays Sgt. Siek in Jarhead
Jamie Foxx has been due a promotion since his latest
bust of a film Stealth.
Luckily, Foxx found his backup with the upcoming Sam Mendes project Jarhead.
Playing the role of Sgt. Siek, Foxx may have found redemption for whatever
his last film was; especially since he was coming down from an Academy performace
during the film's production.

playing Sgt. Siek in Jarhead. Thanks to the good people over at
blackfilm, this picture plus a new one of Jake
Gyllenhaal as "Swoff" have recently been posted online.
Though the pictures really don't convey too much about the film, check out
the teaser trailer and you might get a better picture. Jarhead
is based on the book by Anthony Swofford, a guy who chronicled his own story
as a soldier during Desert Storm. Anthony's character will be played by
Gyllenhaal.
