Woohoo! Having seen those two pathetically small
clips from the international trailer of Harry
Potter and the Goblet of Fire -- you know, the ones with
either a British or 'other language' narrator -- I was beginning to ever
wonder when we would have something worth raving about. And here it is!
There is now a respectably sized quicktime video of the international trailer
for Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.
Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire Trailer
Everything about Goblet of Fire looks
cool. The characters fit, even when they don't exactly match the profiles
written out by JK Rowling. One such example is Viktor Krum, who is broad
in the film but explained as slim in the book. However, Viktor Krum is also
an athlete, and who would believe some frail guy is one of the top seekers
in Quidditch and a champion for his entire school.
We also get to see a few love interests for Potter and friends and... Hermione!
Will you stop strattling your dancing partner you little vixen you! Cho
Chang also fits the part, though the drawings in the books show her as a
little more lengthy.
Other than that, I just have a final word on the music for the trailer.
Is this original music? As I cannot remember hearing it before. If it is,
it sounds great, even though I will miss John Williams for this and probably
future Potter films. If this music does come from some other film or soundtrack,
let me know.
