Ryan Reynolds in Just Friends
There should be no doubt how much I love Ryan
Reynolds. The guy is the sole reason why Two Guys, a Girl
and a Pizza Place is a must own on DVD [though it doesn't exist], why
Van Wilder was so damn funny, and the lasting savior for Blade:
Trinity. After taking a little dip in 'thrillers' and
'horrors' with films such as The
Amityville Horror, it looks like Ryan Reynolds is back
to his old ways.
Just Friends Movie Stills
First the announcement that Ryan Reynolds will
have a starring role in the upcoming server-comedy Waiting, the buddy-comedy
Blowback [with The Rock], the comedy Ride Along [also
with The Rock] and now this. Just Friends tells the story of a
guy who hears the infamous line 'I just want to be friends.' Soon after
this heartbreak, this likable everyman [Reynolds] converts himself into
a ferocious womanizer in order to recreate the connection to the girl who
broke his heart. But what does all this mean?
Basically, we get to see Ryan Reynolds as the likable fat guy who just can't
attract the women. Damn, with Reynolds playing the part, the fat moments
should have some serious laughs. Then, after the break up, Reynolds turns
on Van Wilder - slash - Michael Bergen mode and becomes that womanizing
character we all know and love. All right!
