It is nothing short of refreshing to see Guy
Ritchie finally back to his old ways in the upcoming film Revolver.
Though he did not keep on Brad
Pitt [Snatch], Guy Ritchie picked up his favorite
actor Jason Statham.
Having previously worked together in both Lock, Stock and Two Smoking
Barrels and Snatch, these two individuals are soon becoming
the next BFF of actor-director relations. [this spot is currently held for
Ron Howard and Tom Hanks] However, this is far from a complaint, as it turns
out that not only is Statham a smooth talking badass, but he can also do
quite a bit of Jet Li style fighting as well.

While I dig the Matthew - Vaughn - looking Revolver
poster that came out some time ago -- the one featuring the uzi pressed
into the door -- this latest French poster for the film definitely strengthens
the whole gambling theme that Ritchie has going on. Revolver is Ritchie's
return to dark crime comedies featuring a group of characters caught up
in a mix of guns, gambling, drugs and booze. Definitely has all the proper
Ritchie elements; just a matter of time to see of this director can pull
off another classic [forget about Swept Away like it was yesterday's
garbage].
