The Transporter 2
To help get us prepared for the butt-kicking coming
our way tomorrow with The
Transporter 2, who better to talk to then the transporter
himself, Jason Statham.
Transporter 2 Interview
The good people over at LatinoReview
were able to sit down with Jason
Statham and talk about his upcoming role as ex-mercenary in
The Transporter 2. Some of the more popular questions were how
did Jason learn to beat ass, how did he do working with various props in
combat, and how not to take his character, Frank Martin, too seriously.
Check out a snippet of the interview with Jason Statham below:
About martial arts:
Jason Statham: It’s good to have experience in martial
arts, and it definitely helps Corey’s job, he’s one of my favorite choreographers
and action directors; the more experience you have, the easier time he’s
going to have.
Taking the role of Frank Martin seriously::
Jason Statham: You want to turn up and do the right job, you’re an actor and you’re here to do a job, so yeah, you take it seriously. This movie isn’t to be taken seriously, it’s not Passion of the Christ; it’s about fun, it’s an end of the summer movie, a bit of action, get your popcorn out and enjoy yourself it’s entertainment.
