In a look to see what goes on in a room even farther
back then the editing room, KongisKing has recently released the latest
production diary for King
Kong titled '15 Weeks to Go.' Though the diary shows little
new from the film, it is still neat to watch and further appreciate all
the work that goes into films.
King Kong Gets Sound
The latest production diary for King Kong
covers what is known as Foley artists and Foley production. These are the
people that create all the little sound effects from the padder of little
feet to crates hitting water. To be honest, this job does look like it would
be a whole lot of fun, especially if you got to work with an attractive
opposite, and you would also get to see the film you are working on way
in advance.
This clip features relatively little of Peter Jackson, but he still pops
in real quick to say hello and give a brief idea of where the crew is now
at with the post-production of King Kong.
