Though this update would have been so much better
if Warner Bros would just release the hi-res versions of the latest Harry
Potter and the Goblet of Fire posters to the net, it is
hard not to be a little excited about Potter character posters.
It looks like while walking into their local subway [or tube], a commuter
was able to snap a couple shots of some of the first character posters to
go up for Goblet of Fire.
Character Posters for Harry's Goblet
I cannot remember if Warner Bros offered character
posters for Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban but, if they
had not, they couldn't have chose a better time to start. One of the biggest
marketing strategies applied by Warner Bros, especially apparent in the
teaser trailer, is to convey that all the characters are growing up; something
that is very easy to do with character posters. With the increased age of
the characters means the growing attitude of the books, which get darker
and more 'adult' with every chapter. And, with a MPAA rating of PG-13, Warner
Bros may actually have the ability to pull in even more of the movie-going
market.
Check out the French character poster below. The poor French have to wait
till November 30th for Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, a good
two weeks after the domestic release.
You can check out the full version of the character poster above plus one
of Hermione at CloneWeb.
Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire comes to theatres on November
18th.
