Even though I think Val Kilmer was at his best
when he played the role of Madmartigan in the hit fantasy film Willow,
it is good to see him back again with old Top Gun buddy Tom Cruise.
No, we do not have a Top Gun sequel on the way or the return of Iceman,
but we do have a Val Kilmer that is now the boss of Tom Cruise.
MI3 Gets Kilmer
According to DarkHorizons,
Val Kilmer will have an appearance in the currently filming Mission:
Impossible III as the new head of the MIF-Team. Though his role may
be small, there are people out there hoping that this reunion between Kilmer
and Cruise may spark either some sort of Top Gun sequel or any
future film that will feature the two actors working together again. Let's
try something different... how about a buddy comedy?
