Astonished, blown away, surprisingly adult. These
are a few of the words that had crossed my mind while watching the full
trailer for Harry
Potter and the Goblet of Fire. It looks like Mike Newell
has designed this film to be one notch better than the rest, just as Alfonso
Cuaron did with Prisoner of Azkaban. To be honest, after watching
the trailer I could only think that Newell might have actually gone beyond
the call of duty for this film, which is nothing short of excellent.
Full Goblet of Fire Trailer
After I saw the international trailer for Harry
Potter and the Goblet of Fire I knew that Mike Newell had nailed all
the strengths of the book. However, that trailer took a lighter approach
to the film with easy listening [though great] music and more emphasis on
the interactions between the characters that have now entered the hormonal
period. This full trailer, on the other hand, throws out all the light attitude
and features a darker tone and music for a solid two-thirds of the clip.
Damn this film looks good! You're going to love the introduction of the
students, the arrival of both the chariot and the ship, the announcement
of the champions, the once - again - improved special effects and so much
more.
