Howard Shore and Peter Jackson
I have always been a huge fan of movie music, aka
OST. If you were to watch a film in another room I can usually have a good
idea on exactly what movie you are watching and what scene you are on. I
am also one of those people that can pick up a composer's style in multiple
films. Therefore, I greatly appreciate the latest production diary for King
Kong titled '13 Weeks to Go'.
King Kong Gets Music
While the last production diary for King Kong
covered sound and sound effects, this latest release covers laying down
the final track of music. Though it was cool to see Howard Shore [Lord
of the Rings] at work, I thought the clip could have shown off a little
bit more of the music. Of the entire clip we get to listen to around ten
to twenty seconds and that's it.
The lack of samples makes it hard to tell of Howard Shore can recreate a
score to the level of Lord of the Rings. The track from Fellowship
of the Ring when the fellowship enters the great hall of Khazad-dum
put shivers down my spine.

After the teaser trailer and now a bunch of movie clips, where the heck
is the first poster for King Kong?
