A while back we mentioned that The
Matador, starring Pierce Brosnan and Greg Kinnear, was
such a hit at the Sundance Film Festival that Miramax quickly picked up
the film to handle distribution and marketing. We were immediately pleased,
figuring it would only be a matter of time before an official poster, a
movie trailer and, if they had time, some clips. Well, we were right on
a couple marks.
The Matador Clips and Poster
First, The Matador will not be distributed under Miramax but The
Weinstein Company. When Harvey left I guess he decided to take this film
with him. With that, we now finally have a couple movie clips for the film
plus an official poster.

Besides the new movie poster above [thanks to BlackFilm],
we have also got two new clips for The Matador added to our database.
The first clip features absolutely no talking and is awkwardly amusing while
the second clip is in French and can only give you an idea of the look to
the film; unless of course you speak French. You can check out the clips

Last, but not least, we have updated the release date for The Matador,
which now has a limited release on November 4th and a wide release on November
23rd.
