The Matador
I got to hand it to Harvey and Bob Weinstein. First,
for creating a movie house that finds popularity just by using their last
name. Second, for having one of the first films to come from their studio
be The Matador.
Featuring a surprisingly sleazy Pierce Brosnan and a desparate Greg Kinnear,
The Matador has all the characteristic workings to become a great
comedy.
The Matador Trailer
A chance encounter between a traveling salesman
and a lonely hitman triggers a strangely profound relationship which provokes
each to act in ways neither would have imagined possible. Fate steps in
to form a friendship between two men from irreconcilable worlds that will
alter the lives of both forever.
Forget the debonair Brosnan from films such as Bond or Mrs.
Doubtfire, this Brosnan is a happy mix of dirt and charm; something
that may make you like the guy even more.

The Matador will have a limited release on November 4th and a wide
release on November 23rd.
