Roll Bounce
I need to start skating again! Do they even still
sell roller skates anymore, or is it just roller blades? Either way, Roll
Bounce makes the best skaters look like golden gods.
Roll Bounce Clips
When we first caught wind of Roll Bounce
it was hard to take the film serious. Starring Bow Wow [without the 'Lil'],
Roll Bounce gives as an interesting look at the '70s when roller
skating was a way of life. What this means is that homoerotic skaters had
a whole entourage of good looking women to, well, de-lint their pants or
towel your face. What? Sound a little out there? Then you haven't checked
out the latest set of clips.
Ever since good reviews [yes, good] started to pop up online for Roll
Bounce we decided we should watch the film a little more close. Therefore,
we are pleased to announce that the good people over at IFILM
have recently posted four new movie clips for the film. The clips are all
pretty standard, with the 'Montage to Skating' offering the most entertainment.
The only issue with the clips is that they make it hard to figure what the
Roll Bounce is trying to do. Is Malcolm D. Lee [director] trying to entertain
us strictly by choreographing up tons of skating routines or is there an
entire film to watch here?
Once you have had enough with those four clips
over at IFILM, then head over to MovieFone
for an additional two clips from Roll Bounce. The first clip features
Bow Wow and company doing a dancing routine that, excuse me for saying this,
looks pretty cool. However, it was the second clip that had me see an ora
of rainbows. Featuring a skater called 'Sweetness', the clip shows how the
girls, and guys, can worship a single person. Personally, I would have jumped
in that isle and stomped that bitch out right there. But hey, that's the
'70s for you.
Roll Bounce came out to theatres yesterday, September 23rd.
