X-Men
Well, we have again received another scoop for X-Men 3 that both
validates and corrects information that we had previously posted. However,
I am still now trying to confirm this new information with various sources
and have had no response yet [expect updates].
New X-Men 3 Info
The scoop below both confirms a number of details
in the scoop linked above and corrects some mistakes as well [according
to the scoop].
Some things here are not correct about X3.
Although some I read here I will confirm. Prof X does not die, but goes
into a deep coma. Storm and Cyclops are named commanders of the X-Men. There
is no romance between Storm and Wolverine, although she does save him in
the middle of the film. Jean Grey switches in and out of being Phoenix,
and winds up wounding the X-Men while trying to save them. Cyclops does
not die. Colossus and Iceman team up with Kitty Pride and Rogue to try and
find a cure for the Prof. Pride and Colussus start to fall in love. They
travel to Europe to tack down a rumored cure. There are two new X characters
in this one, besides Beast. Nightcrawler, already in Europe, makes a short
appearance. He convinces Colossus to join him in Europe by the last 40 minutes
of the film. They hope to stay there and find the cure for Prof. X. Pride,
Rouge and Iceman return to the Mansion without Colossus. They then unite
with Wolverine, Cyclops, Beast, and Storm. The heroes then confront The
Phoenix and Juggernaut, in a simultaneous battle, that forces them to choose
between saving Jean or stoppping Juggernaut.
There are a couple issues with this scoop that
I have to check on. First, I thought that Nightcrawler was still completely
out of X3, with Alan Cumming making the announcement personally.
Second, I have received numerous reports of a eulogy or funeral, but who
died then?
