X-Men 3 set pic.
Even though I am currently working on another X-Men
3 scoop for later tonight or tomorrow morning, thought
this latest set report for the film would be a nice warmup.
X-Men 3 Set Pics
Last week we posted the set report from HNR that
claimed that the film crew was currently working on a Golden Gate bridge
to use in the final action sequence. Here is a part of the report below:
The set for the scene includes a huge 1.8 million dollar 2500-foot long replica of the Golden Gate Bridge and is currently being built on location in South Vancouver (Boundary Road & Marine Drive). The site used to be a Saw Mill and currently is an empty site awaiting residential development.
Now HNR has gone one step further and provided the first set pics of what
looks to be, well, big. Here is a piece of the report that came in with
the X-Men 3 set pics:
There is also an unpainted wooden building and from what I can see the inside courtyard looks like it could be used in a prison type of scene as there were big flood lights on posts all around it that looked like spot lights as well as a "watch tower or guard tower" in the right of the photo. You can also see that the "prison" or Alcatraz structure I was talking about is attached to part of the bridge and a dome building.
The report also claims that a ton of green screen
is being used within the giant structures. To check out all of the new set
pics for X-Men 3, head over to HNR.
X-Men 3 comes to theatres on May 5th, 2006.
