Like this, but without Walker or Vin.
A few days ago Bow Wow let some information slip
on who would take the lead role in the next Fast and the Furious
installment, but now it's official. Lucas Black and Bow Wow will star in
The Fast and the Furious: The Tokyo Drift.
Fast and the Furious Get Black
The movie will be set in the world of Japanese drift racing, where rear wheeled cars speed into turns and "drift" sideways for as long as possible. The story centres around an outsider (Black) who is sent from the country, to live with his militant father in a tiny apartment in a low-rent section of Tokyo, all to avoid jail time. But moving into Toyko's city creates it's own problems and when he loses a race to a driver who has ties to the Yakuza, he pays off his debt by going deep into the Tokyo underworld.
Bow Wow will play Black's friend, Twinkie. The
'bad guy' of the movie and Black's nemises, "D.K" (Drift King) will be played
by Brian Tee (Starship Troopers 2, Austin Powers in Goldmember)
and Nikki Griffin (The Dukes of Hazzard, The O.C. as Jess
Sathers) has been cast to play Tee's girlfriend.
Ex-Furious, Paul Walker, can be seen in Into
the Blue beginning today.
