Justin Timberlake in Alpha Dog
When news first began to spread the Justin Timberlake
could begin to appear in blockbuster films such as Die Hard 4 and
Alpha Dog,
I began to have deja vu to the transition of Ashley Simpson to music. Sure,
a lot of people like her for her work, but a ton of people hate her for
the music *cough* lip-sinking. However, Timberlake has always been a performer
who is more than comfortable in front of the camera, making him a perfect
candidate for the acting transition.
Thanks to the early release of the trailer for Alpha Dog, we get
to see Timberlake in what I'd like to call his try out for film. How did
he do? Damn schizzy my nizzy!
Alpha Dog
Watch the Alpha Dog trailer while you
can cause, judging by some of the elements to the trailer, this puppy isn't
going to be online long. There isn't any nudity or anything like that, but
there are a few unfinished scenes featured in the trailer including one
with an apparent green-screen in the background.
Alpha Dog is a drama based on the life of Jesse James Hollywood,
a drug dealer who became one of the youngest men ever to be on the FBI's
most wanted list.
Alpha Dog tells the story of a young drug dealer named Johnny Truelove
along and his friend Frankie who kidnap Zack Mazursky, the younger brother
of a guy who has unpaid debts with Johnny and crew. Though Zack is a mark,
he forgets that he has been taken prisoner due to new friends, drinking
and girls. Even though he has multiple opportunities to run, Zack remains
under the custody of Johnny. Unfortunately, Zack does not know the disturbingly
fatal conclusion that awaits him.
Everything about Alpha Dog looks pretty slick, including the beat
up looking Bruce Willis who has already had a couple run-ins with Timberlake
for an upcoming role in Die Hard 4.

Alpha Dog features an impressive, and
young, cast of which all may get outshined by the arrival of Justin Timberlake,
who looks and sounds impressive playing the role of Frankie.
