A scooper has told Superhero
Hype! that the Sheraton Wall centre is where you can catch
a glimpse of the cast and crew filming the latest scene from X-Men
3.
New X-Men 3 Info
Saturday Oct. 1st here in Vancouver - I live at Burrard & Nelson Sts. right across from the Sheraton Wall Centre, one of the highest buildings in the city. They were setting up this afternoon for what looks like a HUGE shoot tomorrow - two massive cranes with a cablecam running in between. Tons of production trucks, the Plaza done up with new landscaping and a new sign reading "Worthington Labs" across the front. Looks like they'll be doing passes over the street from WAY up.
The
Agassiz Observer has reported that Magneto (Sir Ian McKellen)
will be tearing up Lougheed Hwy this month. (Warning: Spoiler ahead)
The film's location manager, Ann Goobie, said filming will close the highway between Evergreen Dr. and the Agassiz Bypass between Oct. 11 and Oct. 15.
The 24-hour closures will allow crews to film a spectacular stunt sequence in which a semi and several smaller vehicles will be flipped over. Other driving stunts will also be performed.
Agassiz will stand in for an unspecified location on the east coast of the United States, she noted.
In other minor breaking news, the Vancouver
Sun has reported that Dania Ramirez (She Hates Me)
is set to play a "bad girl" in X-men 3 and Australia's Film
and Literature Classifications office has listed the trailer as being
2 minutes long. For trailer details on X-Men 3, check out our scoop
here [the scoop claims the trailer has an exact running time
of 1:57.
X-Men 3 comes to theatres on May 26th, 2006.
