I have repeatedly said what a rough time Disney
has been having without the animation partner Pixar. Their last CG animated
release, Valiant,
was almost to the level of straight to video; something Disney is all too
familiar with. However, after watching this latest four-minute preview from
Disney, Chicken
Little may be their saving grace.

After watching the full trailer for Chicken
Little I stated that I was still unimpressed by the direction that
it looked Disney was heading. However, after watching the four-minute preview
released today for the film I may soon be eating my words. Everything about
the film looked exceptional, including the comedy. Every time a mother rabbit
had to grab her children I found it impossible not to chuckle.
Chicken Little picks up after the 'sky
is falling' incident. Chicken Little is the laughing stock of his town up
until he hits the game winning home run for his local baseball team. Over
night Chicken Little goes from laughing stock to local hero. But, soon enough,
Chicken Little is hit over the head again and this time he is sure the sky
is really falling.
