Having enjoyed myself at the theatres twice this
last week with the Joss Whedon sci-fi adventure Serenity,
I cannot say how much it pleases me to hear that Universal has given the
film yet another vote of confidence by showing off the first nine minutes
to the film.
Serenity Opening Clip
Though I am excited that Universal has decided
to release a whopping nine minutes of the film Serenity, this segment
of the film was probably my least favorite. Except for the cool intro that
shows the birth of the Alliance and the rescue of River, the first nine
minutes are not the best example of how fun this film actually is. However,
if you are at all impressed with this clip, then I heavily suggest you check
out Serenity this weekend in theatres; what else you got to do?
Another cool aspect about the nine-minute preview for Serenity
is that it is run in some streaming video format I have not seen before.
I was able to watch the clip fullscreen on my desktop. Nice work Universal!
