Superman Returns
In what could very well be the most expensive movie
ever made, with a budget that's tipped to rise well over the $300 million
mark by the time it's ready to hit the big screen, the cast and crew of
Superman Returns,
return to Sydney after being on a five week hiatus.
Superman Returns Update
The cast and crew will begin filming in two weeks after returning to the U.S to celebrate Bryan Singer's 40th birthday. During the hiatus the production team continued to pay top dollar to keep their sets intact at the Entertainment Quarter, Moore Park, where much of the filming has been done. (Ha!Ha! That's right! We Aussies know how to bleed something for all its worth!)
"Yeah, it's costing them a fortune," location manager Peter Lawless told Confidential yesterday.
"They've taken a break for (Singer's) birthday
but they'll only be back for about four more weeks to film one major sequence."
Singer, along with Kevin Spacey, Kate Bosworth and Brandon Routh have developed quite the reputation for themselves here in Australia and living it right up throwing a no-expenses spared bash in August that drew an A-list of Aussie celebs.
Stay tuned for updates.
