Don't get me wrong, I love the production diaries
for King Kong
hosted over at KongisKing.Net, but
does that mean I want to buy them? According to the latest promotional image
to pop up online, Universal plans to sell all of the production diaries
aired online for Peter Jackson's Kong on DVD this December; shortly
before the release of the actual film.

I love Peter Jackson, I love what I have seen from
Kong so far and I am an avid follower of KongisKing, but if you
expect to see me racing to my local DVD retail store on December 13th [yes,
a day before the theatrical release of King Kong] to buy a compilation
of production diaries, you got another thing coming. How about I just wait
for the special edition of the film on DVD after it leaves theatres?

That is the banner that has been popping up all over the net in promotion
of the King Kong DVDs. Now, I don't want to sound too hard on the
idea, as I am sure there are a ton of you now getting ready for December
13th. However, for me, this is just getting too carried away; and I love
trailers.
King Kong comes to theatres on December 14th, 2005.
