The Legend of Zorro
Since Thursday is our big day for getting over-loaded
with movie clips and trailers for various upcoming films, we thought we'd
get to these cool looking Legend
of Zorro clips a bit early.
Legend of Zorro Trailer
Besides the clip between Don Alejandro de la Vega
(Antonio Banderas) and his son, the other clips are just solid reminders
of what made the trailer look so action packed. Nothing really pops up that
shouldn't be expected, but highly entertaining just the same.
The year is 1850. The territory of California is seeking to become the 31st state of the union, but certain unscrupulous individuals, members of a mysterious medieval organization, are determined to prevent this event from transpiring.
Once again the masked hero, Zorro, must come to the aid of the people of California so they can become citizens of the United States of America.
At the same time, a corrupt robber baron McGivens (Nick Chinlund) is intimidating the law-abiding residents of California, seizing their land and threatening their livelihoods.
Again, only Zorro can stop him.
Though we are excited to have new clips for The
Legend of Zorro, we have actually been hoping for a couple reports
from any early screenings that may be going on in the next couple of weeks.
The initial complaints about the film mention that the action isn't balanced,
with most occurring in the latter half of the film. Since those reports
came so long ago, I am curious to see if Columbia Pictures and Martin Campbell
have balanced the film out a bit.
To check out all three clips, head over to our Movie Page.
The Legend of Zorro comes to theatres on November 4th.
