the troops.
Good morning soldiers [3 AM]! If you are like me
and were impressed by both the teaser and full trailer for the upcoming
war adaptation titled Jarhead,
then you may just dig these new movie stills to pop up on the net today.

Corporal Joblo has recently got his hands on the
latest intel for Jarhead and has posted all the war footage goodness
for your viewing eyes only. Don't believe? Check out a couple of the latest
Jarhead stills below. But, before doing so, here is your mission
soldier!
"Jarhead" [the self-imposed moniker of the Marines] follows "Swoff"
[Gyllenhaal], a third-generation enlistee, from a sobering stint in boot
camp to active duty, sporting a sniper's rifle and a hundred-pound ruck
on his back through Middle East deserts with no cover from intolerable heat
or from Iraqi soldiers, always potentially just over the next horizon. Swoff
and his fellow Marines sustain themselves with sardonic humanity and wicked
comedy on blazing desert fields in a country they don't understand against
an enemy they can't see for a cause they don't fully fathom.
