Though I'd finish my night of updates [it is
4 AM] with a nice and simple poster update for the upcoming Weinstein Company
film Transamerica.
Just like it sounds, Transamerica is similar to The Birdcage
but with a twist... or should I say lack thereof [pun intended].
Transamerica Poster and Synopsis
The Weinstein Company was kind enough to send over
the first poster for Transamerica along with the official synopsis:
Bree is a perfectly adjusted conservative transsexual woman. Born Stanely,
a genetic male, she's about to take the final step to becoming the woman
Stanley always wanted to be - until she finds out that she is the parent
of a long-lost 17 year-old son. Afraid to tell the rebellious teenager the
truth, Bree embarks on a journey with him that will challenge and change
both their lives and bring them closer to the truth of their connection.
Transamerica is a funny, touching, completely modern look at the
modern American family, starring Emmy award winner Felicity Huffman and
Kevin Zegers.

'Weinstein', expect many updates for this film to come.
Transamerica will have a limited release in New York and LA on
December 2nd and will then appear in the top twenty markets on December
23rd.
