The Chronicles of Narnia Creature from The Chronicles of Narnia
Happy Sunday everybody! We have a few big updates this weekend plus a bunch of small details we have picked up over the last couple of days. Since these details are so small, I decided to compile them all into one article and then move on to the bigger updates later today. What we have below is an interesting round-up of The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe, Star Wars Revenge of the Sith and Domino.

Narnia Updates

If you thought the full trailer recently released for The Chronicles of Narnia last week was cool, then you have got to check out the x-large version now posted over at MovieFone. I know, I know... they may have double-dipped on this one. However, small or big trailer, this film still looks pretty rad. I love the line 'Numbers do not decide a battle' with Peter responding, 'No, but I bet they help.'

Check out the larger version by heading over to MovieFone.

Besides a trailer, the recent issue of Entertainment Weekly has suggested that The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe will have a tremendous Christian following. They even go on to compare the following to that of Passion of the Christ. Did this 'following' just happen or did Disney have a part in this? Well, Disney does admit that they do use the same marketing officer that The Passion did, meaning that this person knows which groups to target. What this means is a probable two million ticket buyers from the Christian turnout. Will targeting a political/religious group backfire and polarize audiences for Narnia? Doubtful, considering Disney and Adamson [director] consider this group a very small percentage of their targeted market.

I thought religious groups hated fantasy films? I guess having the children be the sons of Adam and the daughters of Eve helps though.

Domino Death Confirmed

Yes, we know Domino really died and that her death wasn't a marketing plug for Tony Scott's thriller, Domino. However, the reasons of Domino's sudden death have continuously been very vague, with only the smallest of details being released. We were first told that the causes were unknown; something that made people wonder if her small frame had just been exhausted from a history of drugs and crime. However, we were later told that Domino suffered from a heart attack/failure while relaxing in her bathtub. Though this news did offer a bit more, we still couldn't take anything from it.

Now we have finally been alerted that Domino's death was from an overdose of painkiller medication. And so ends the story of Domino Harvey.

Revenge of the Sith DVD Preview

If you are counting the days till the release of Star Wars Revenge of the Sith to DVD on November 1st, then you may want to run to your local newsstand and purchase the current issue of Entertainment Weekly. The magazine offers an impressive article on one of the most talked about extra features to be included with the DVD-- 'Within a Minute'.

By purchasing the magazine you can check out tons of pictures featuring green screens, set props, outfits, a charred Anakin, storyboards, conceptual art and more. If you are a subscriber, then you probably have received the magazine by now. So open it up and get reading.

Stay tuned for updates.
