Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang
I live next to a pretty popular theatre known for carrying various limited releases. Therefore, I woke up last Friday morning in a state of nostalgia. After surviving a late night, I yanked some clothes off my laundry hamper, tied my shoes and immediately headed out to check out the latest vision from Shane Black- Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang.

Sure, I originally thought I'd be seeing DOOM first this weekend but, after so many positive reviews and an entertaining full trailer, I saw Kiss Kiss as the better option. Upon arrival to the theatre what did I see? Nothing! It turns out that I am going to have to join the majority of you and wait till, or just before, Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang comes to theatres on November 11th. Crap!

Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang Review

Though I definitely have to wait for this boat to come in, I decided that now would be a perfect time to remind folks that Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang will be coming out to theatres in their area sometime on, or before, November 11th. Like all the reviews we have posted before, these latest two are extremely positive.

AICN
The film is absolutely spectacular – but Warners, and admittedly he, seem a bit lost on how to sell this film. After the film, Shane said in the post film Q&A, “I don’t even know which shelf at the video store you’d put this on.” And all these folks from the audience began shouting out different genres it belonged in… and from the back of the theater I screamed out, “THE RECOMMENDED SECTION” cuz honestly – that’s exactly where this belongs.

This is that film exactly like TRUE ROMANCE that is that action, romantic, comedy, quirky, sexy, violent, crude, fun masterfully told film where nothing is ever the scene you think it is. Remember the first time you learned about Sicilians and Eggplants? This has a lot of that sort of quality to it.

ComingSoon
A smart action-comedy is a rarity, but Shane Black's directorial debut brilliantly spoofs Hollywood and the buddy comedy genre he helped create with an irreverent script that's a real treat.

Kiss Kis, Bang Bang is one of those rare action-comedies that can be appreciated by more than just teen males thanks to Shane Black's perpetually clever script. Women should appreciate Michelle Monaghan's character and the comedic friendship/romance between her and Downey Jr., but the real reason to see this movie is to watch Downey and Kilmer turn into one of the most unlikely onscreen comedy duos in movie history.

Though both reviews offer extremely positive feelings towards Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang, I think it is Harry Knowles who would be more than willing to offer personal 'favors' for Black.

Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang will experience a wide theatrical release on November 11th.
