Disney, taking advantage of every medium at their
disposal, including 3D, have recently jumped on the baseball fever by releasing
an internet exclusive clip of Chicken
Little when the small hero hits one out of the park. However,
this clip has been modified a bit to pick up a few more of you baseball
nuts.
Chicken Little Extended Clip
The homerun clip from Chicken Little offers
an audio track of the "miracle" homerun that Kirk Gibson slammed
for the LA Dodger's during the 1988 World Series. Disney was able to get
this recorded clip to fit perfectly over Chicken Little's homerun
in the film.
Other than the dubbed in sound, this latest clip
is further proof that Chicken Little has been animated to look
amazing in 3D. Watch the moment the ball leaves the pitchers hand and approaches
home plate; you can get a sense of dimension without even needing the special
glasses.
As of right now, we still believe that Disney may have actually nailed this
latest CG animation; a first in some time.
