Here is a brief update for all of you anxiously
awaiting a return to Desert Storm in the adaptation of Anthony Swofford's
novel Jarhead.
Universal Pictures has come to realize that the film's release date is only
two weeks away and has gone forward to create an extremely interactive official
website.

The official website for Jarhead is delivered
in glorious flash and has so much stuff to go through that you may actually
find yourself lost after a bit of time. Not having too much free time to
spare for the site, I took a chance and chose one of the three options available
and was still only able to get through about a quarter of that before I
was burnt out.
If you were to spend enough time on the Jarhead site you will probably
leave knowing the entire history of the Marine Corp, its development and
evolution, plus all the nice terms and jargon used by a fellow marine.
Personally, I always thought 'shoot that son of a bitch' was a no-brainer.
If you are bored at work, waiting for company or
just have some time to waste, head over to the official Jarhead
site.
Jarhead comes to theatres on November 11th.
