have reported that Scrubs writer, Bill Lawrence, is set to write Fletch
Won. Lawrence will be taking over from Kevin Smith who was previously
attached to the film for quite some time.
Fletch Won Replaces Smith
To top things all off for Scrubs fans,
Zack Braff who plays J.D in the TV series, is only a bees dick away from
signing on as the titular reporter.
Braff has been a long time favourite for the role, however Smith was set to cast Jason Lee instead. This adaption will be based on the book and not the Chevy Chase movies.
No news as to who will direct the Weinstein Brothers release yet, but stay tuned for more!
