Viggo Mortensen
Since we do have such a solid Viggo Mortensen fan
base, this article comes in from Linda Furiate about Viggo and all his characteristics
that make him the classy stud that the ladies love to follow.
Viggo Mortensen
Viggo Mortensen happens to be one of my favorite
actors and celebrities. I am intrigued with his non-assuming demeanor. He's
a man who is truly committed to his ability to create art rather his celebrity
status.
As the founder of Portraits in Determination, I am always searching
for the perfect interview, whether is be for an article, my TV show or my
radio program. I want to know what makes a person tick, especially during
difficult moments. I want to know how one spiritually and emotionally gets
through the tough times. I have requested an interview with Viggo, but have
yet to hear back from his people to secure a time to chat with him. I would
love to know what makes this guy tick and how he gets through adversity.
Being quite intuitive and an astrologer to boot, I decided to learn more
about the depth of this incredibly talented man by researching his birth
date (10-20-58).
I have read a bit about Viggo on various websites, most of which evolves
around his movie roles or superficial stuff about his childhood. I have
yet to read a negative word about his personal life and any real trauma
he may have experienced.
I have to wonder if his art - i.e. movies, poetry, writing, singing etc...is
his way of escaping the harsh realities of life. Or maybe he is fortunate
enough to not dwell on his tough moments by emerging himself in his craft?
Is it strength or escapism?
Probably a little bit of both. Viggo has a need
to communicate, in fact, that is a main purpose in this lifetime. Because
he is reluctant to voice his real self, he expresses his nature through
his ability to create art. What a powerful thing to be able to do. Most
of us just want to talk about ourselves, Viggo is able to produce some of
the most incredible expressions of himself in his movie roles, his music
and his writing.
In his latest film, History
of Violence, Viggo lives up to his purpose by playing
a role that truly balances his real life being. I'm not saying a part of
him wants to kill people like in the movie. What I am saying is he able
to take that negative part of his past and create something positive. If
there was ever a man I would want to be with it would be the "new" Tom Stall
(Viggo's character name). I would have to think that the real Viggo feels
that no matter what his past may be like, there is no reason we can't become
the person we have always dreamed of being. Taking a quote from him in 28
Days, he says to Sandra Bullock's characters "that's not who you are, that
is just something you've done". What a great statement to not allow us to
have our past actions define who we believe we are.
I stress to my clients to not allow themselves to let their past negative
actions to define who they are, but to let their past negative actions be
a guide for who they know they no longer wish to be. We each have a gift
to express and we must each go about it in our own way to move us toward
our destiny.
Viggo I still would like to interview you to portray your strength to help
others heal.
Stay tuned for updates.
